Agustin Egurrola choreographed the new Polish music and dance TVP 1 blockbuster entitled “Bodo”. The premiere of the 13-episode series about the legendary star of the interwar Polish cinema and cabaret – Eugeniusz Bodo – already on 6 March.

– Work on the set of the show was extremely exciting. I had to go back to the Polish interwar era and look at the forms of dance that existed then – says Agustin Egurrola. – I watched a lot of pre-war films and American musicals starring Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly from this point of view. I wanted to get as close as possible to that aesthetics of movement, but also add some modern touch. This is certainly one of the most important series in the history of the Polish cinema, and thanks to it the story of Eugeniusz Bodo will live for many, many years. I am dreaming about a musical about Bodo – because after this blockbuster everything is ready – the songs, actors, choreography. This is something we can show off.
